I've been supporting people for over 20 years, consider myself to be multi-skilled in my approach, often referred to as a mentor because of the relationships I form. For me, the aim is to I support the person behind the persona that the public eye sees, to ensure that together we protect your goals and limit the risk that comes with being in the public eye.

Fusing confidential sessions lined with trust, combining outcomes, accountability and emotional insight. What I care about is that you don't self sabotage the very thing you have worked hard to get.

I started as a peer mentor at the age of 15, since then I have coached, mentored a range of individuals amounting to over 8000 hours. Mindful practice and performance is moving to an intentional space and action with how and why we do the things we do. In high pressured moments, we focus on what is in front of us rather than the context and the goal we worked so hard to achieve. Mental agility and safety is vital for excellence, however this must come from your internal world. Adopting mindfulness in your daily lives and becoming safe with your intentions as well as your environment are vital in order for true mental agility and control.

The Mindful 3 Method

The Mindful 3 Method is a multidimensional methodology designed to develop purpose-led, self-aware and agile individuals. The Mindful 3 Method is trauma-informed as well as designed to build personal attributes and improve performance. Together we will focus on - ABC = attitude, behaviour and character.  Three areas we don't usually intentionally work on, but often are the barriers to achieving our potential. Working on various areas covering psychological growth in order for you to make your gains and maintain your mental agility.

What to expect 

Person-centred 

Character development is at the centre of your goal achievement. The how matters in maintaining mental agility control. It'd not the money or opportunities that keep you grounded, it's being intentional with your development and performance.

With social media being a new way to promote work, our interactions are confidential. You have the option to post or share but my social media is used for capturing moments and tips, not for the worlds gossip channel. I understand that one size doesn’t fit all and due to different pathways or environments different methods work for different individuals. This is where I pull from my understanding of psychological theory, behavioural neuroscience, trauma-informed practices and counselling skills to tailor my approach. The coaching and mentoring frameworks are the methods and concepts that provide the how to overcome an area of hindrance. 

Identification of goals, values, strengths and areas of development 

Through activities, sessions and assessments we will gather information that will highlight where you are at the direction you want to go. We will draw from information and gain clarity into individualised steps or methods to support learning and change. 

Woven into sessions, personal carved time for activities and in between support we will build an ecosystem of time management, mindful intentions and actions as well as compassionate accountability for you to stay grounded in the goals identified.

My passion for sport extends outside of mentorship

MINDFULNESS, A GAME CHANGER

Mindfulness is a practice of paying attention to the present moment without judgment. It involves observing thoughts, feelings and bodily sensations as they are without getting carried away by them or judging them as good or bad. Mindfulness can be developed through practices like meditation, breathing exercises, yoga, journaling and grounding.

I started as a peer mentor at 15, something clicked, creating safety for another person is what has always spoken to my own heart, but there was always something missing before I connected to my own journey. I didn't have that for myself. My work is underpinned by informed practice, the understanding of human behaviour, trauma also called adverse experiences and various therapeutic/mindful activities. Working with me is about supporting excellence while in pressured environments and having a trustful champion in your corner. I advocate mindful activities to support regulation, agility and resilience. I work on the premise that you are a human who will experience all types of events and emotions but making sense of your circumstances while being mindful and intentional in how you navigate the world will be our focus.

Working with professional athletes but not exclusively, my approach is person centred,

which means I hold the view of a person's profession is not the main factor in their development, it is a contextual factor that makes up an overall development.

The one thing was this.... Life gives you challenges, conflict and disruption. That's a given, but how you respond to it matters, and it is a choice. Through my own journey of adversity and transformation,

I’ve learned that obstacles are not the barriers we often perceive them to be. Building a healthy, balanced life requires the same level of commitment to maintaining it.

True change stems from developing strong habits and challenging our own perspectives.

Maintain your inner hero, Trust, is a major factor in accountability. You don't have to do anything alone, pressure & expectations can often create overwhelm with your own adverse experiences. Often the stigma of support stops us from engaging with support but consider this...... Maintain your inner hero and protect it at all cost.
