PSYCHOLOGICAL MENTORSHIP

LOOKING AT PERFORMANCE DIFFERENTLY - SAFETY 1ST

AGILE PERFORMANCE - the place where mental agility comes first

SOLUTIONS FOR

PSYCHOLOGICAL GROWTH

Through building mindful habits/practices, you learn to always search for the silver lining to the experiences that give challenge, conflict or disruption.

An optimal state is being able to be agile with life experiences and work through the impact of them, while still taking steps to move closer to your goals and meaningful connections. Sessions will help us unpick life areas and tools will support growing in awareness in personality, learning and love styles. Gaining clarity, balance, focus, and control is essential to a healthy mindset.

TRAUMA-INFORMED TRAINED

Adversity doesn't discriminate; regardless of who and what you are, we all will experience loss of all kinds and other forms of adverse experiences. Some may not cause strain. The impact of an experience is different, but I can tell you that your brain and body store the experience.

Accessing support is not about what is wrong with you, but what is right with you. It is you engaging in the direction and quality of things in your life, no matter the experience. Trauma was covered in my psychology degree, also undergone training from various providers over a decade. How I work is that I then take that information to contextualise the information but also apply it to my own journey of healing the mind and body to have an agile mind.

From the decade of training I have undertaken are all awards from Nicola Lester, who specialises in psychological trauma, and I engage in learning from The Centre for Healing

- Fusing various disciplines to bring holistic change

"Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional" - I believe in this. We have been conditioned to think that having a family, driving a nice car, not living at home and other external things mean that you are developing and happy. This has to be one of the worst lies ever told. We ignore harmful coping behaviours, laugh them off when in fact these are all signs of suffering.

Pressure and demand are a part of life, as well as barriers and challenges, but it's having mental tools and disciplines that will see you navigate them in healthy ways and not be trapped by fear.  Much of what we do is not as conscious as we think.  Analytical Psychology, coined by Carl Jung, holds the belief that human behaviour is shaped not only by our personal unconscious but also by the collective unconscious. Genuine psychological growth happens through individuation and the lifelong process of integrating the parts we would rather forget.

GET CONNECTED WITH THE KAIZEN APPROACH

Kaizen stands for change for the better. This continuous improvement philosophy will see that awareness and understanding are central to becoming intentional in life. We do the best we can with the tools and understanding we have. What happens when there are no or few tools? Limiting beliefs and unhelpful thinking styles take over. The inner critic grows in power and skill, while the inner champion learns to be silent. Developing your champion will grow your self-awareness, navigate risk management healthily and create intentional steps towards the person and life you desire.

"No short cuts"

and it is not always easy... To unlock parts of your experience you would rather forget. Challenge, conflict and disruption can bring frustration. Feeling the emotions that come with that are NEVER the problem it is about how you respond to those areas in life.
